Website launch – Emmanuel Croydon

Emmanuel Croydon approached Hand Coded Studio earlier this year looking for a new website. Their existing website had started to look old, and had become very cumbersome to maintain. During Summer 2018 we were able to launch their new website. We designed, built and deployed the website in collaboration with Emmanuel Croydon staff.

The Prince's Trust charity

The Prince's Trust charity approached Hand Coded Studio with an exciting brief to build an online quiz to nationally promote their annual Youth Index Report 2018.

The Youth Index, sponsored by Macquarie, is a national survey that gauges young people’s wellbeing across a range of areas from family life to physical health. Using our iterative digital process, we crafted a visually-beautiful and user-focused interactive quiz, for users to participate and discover a relevant case study.

How to manage content

To best aid the writing, editing and approving of web content we use a third-party service called “GatherContent”. This service stores the sitemap of the entire website and allows the tracking of each piece of content from initial conception to final approval. The service offers an WYSIWYG editor, complete with a commenting/feedback system for administrators.

Product launch - MyChurch Media

We're very excited to launch a new product called "MyChurch Media". The service stores and distributes church’s sermons via a podcast and developer API. This means that developers can easily and quickly embed content into websites, applications and phone apps.

Website launch - Cornerstone Church Kingston

The website has been designed to meet a variety of requirements from a wide range of target audiences. The bespoke, responsive website features background videos, vibrant photography and a series of layout options. Since the last website iteration in 2011, Cornerstone Church Kingston have wanted to better serve the needs of the local community. This has been achieved with the addition of the ‘Activities’ page which lists regular events and groups in the Kingston, Surrey area.

Alternative Content Management Systems

WordPress was originally built as a blogging platform, and has morphed over the years in to an all round Content Management System (CMS). Although superior to other CMS’s on the market, it can feel complicated if incorrectly configured.

I’d like to propose two alternative CMS’s that could be used. Both come with a one-off purchase price, however online support is offered as part of this.
